I’m so excited to invite you to a very special Iyengar yoga retreat on Koh Tao Island, Thailand — where we’ll be taking over the entire Baan Talay Resort just for our group.

Think tropical island life, daily yoga with me, nourishing food, ocean swims, and plenty of time to rest, explore, and just be. Baan Talay is a peaceful, nature-filled resort with a beautiful history rooted in conscious living and the Koh Tao snorkeling/diving community — the perfect place to slow down and reconnect.

With the whole resort exclusively ours, it’s going to feel intimate, relaxed, and supportive — more like a little yoga family than a busy retreat. Whether you’re craving deeper practice, adventure, creativity, or simply a reset from everyday life, this retreat is an invitation to do it all at your own pace.

Activities and Excursions

Boat Trip - Snorkelling - Restaurant Dinner

We’ll head out on a relaxed local boat trip, stopping at a few beautiful snorkelling spots along the way. All snorkelling equipment is provided, so you can simply jump in and explore the clear tropical waters, coral reefs, and colourful marine life at your own pace.

As the sun goes down, we’ll make our way to a local beachfront restaurant, where you can enjoy dinner with your feet near the water and take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool if you feel like it. After a leisurely evening, we’ll hop back on the boat for a peaceful ride home, returning to Baan Talay under the evening sky.

Beach

Spend a relaxed half-day exploring Aow Leuk Bay — one of Koh Tao’s most beautiful beaches with soft sandy shores and clear, calm water perfect for swimming and snorkelling right from the beach.

Aow Leuk is known for its coral gardens and colourful fish, and it’s a lovely spot to simply soak up the sun, snorkel at your leisure, or chill with a drink in hand.

Sound Bath

“Not just an ordinary sound bath, this is where music & meditation merge into one extraordinary flow, a powerful duet, your dream opera.”

This isn’t your average sound bath. It’s where music and meditation come together in one flowing, immersive experience — a space to rest, drift, and let the sound do the work.

A sound bath is a gentle yet powerful way to slow down and release stress. Instead of soaking in water, you’re “bathed” in sound and vibration from instruments like Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, and gongs. You simply lie down, get comfortable, and allow the waves of sound to move through you.

Here’s the cool part — the human body is around 70% water. Just like sound creates ripples in a lake, these vibrations travel through the water in our bodies, helping everything soften, shift, and rebalance. No effort required.

As the sound flows, the nervous system begins to relax. Breath deepens, the mind quiets, and tension slowly melts away. Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply rested — like something heavy has been gently washed away.
